I only stayed for three nights but they made me feel as if i was part of the family. It was my first time in India and it was a blessing that I stayed with them when I was in Jaipur. KP (Mr Singh) made sure that I got the best deals while maximizing my short stay there. My room was perfect. It's clean, spacious, well-lighted and airconditioned. Generally, the house from its first to third levels are well-kept. I loved the rooftop dining area specially evening time when the lights are on. It gives you an unobstructed view of the city; a good place to chill while having a bottle of beer or sipping a cup of traditional Indian tea. Just perfect.
Be very aware. This is a family of excellent cooks! You should be ready to gain some weight. They cook the best Laalmas (a Rajasthani specialty) in town and their homemade yogurt is heavenly. I miss their food more than I miss Amber Fort and Hawa Mahal.
Thank you for making me feel at home. May you have more guests to come! God bless your family!
“Best home I have ever stayed in! ”
Rajputana is beyond words!! We loved staying here so much! I was really sick for our entire stay so I stayed in the house for most of the time and I felt so cosy and comfortable there. KP and his Mumma were so caring and helpful while I was sick. KP made sure I ate the right foods when I could and took me to the doctor. The home they have created is unbelievable, it's so beautiful decorated in Indian style. Every meal is authentic and home cooked and there's no menu which makes it feel even more like someone's home and not a restaurant! Our room was really good, really clean, modern!
I could have cried when I left, it was honestly the best place we have ever stayed on our travels. Thankyou so much KP and Mumma and the rest of the family. Hope to see you again one day!!!

“Great spot with a very friendly owner”
The owner was very friendly and helpful during our two night stay. He gave us advice on what to see in Jaipur and also things to look out for (e g. An area of Jaipur which is known for ripping off tourists). He also made us home cooked meals that were delicious! Rooms were nice and big with a big bathroom right across the hall. The room was quite hot at night so I would suggest an a.c. room. The guest house also has a lively rooftop restaurant. The railway is close by so you can hear trains but when you're in your room, it's quite quiet.
“Amazing place to stay!! Best guest house in India!!”
Staying at Rajputana Guest House was the best decision my sister and I made on our trip!! I can't say enough amazing things about this place. The family alone -- would be the number one reason to say YES to staying here. They were absolutely wonderful hosts and amazing cooks. Our breakfast was gourmet -- better than any provided breakfast we had in India. We enjoyed spending time talking to them and they helped us plan out our travels with all the inside information of the locals. We enjoyed staying with them so much, that we went back the next night just to have dinner with them! KP cooked us an amazing meal (he used to be a chef!!!). The guest house had nice rooms and a great bathroom as well as fast wifi. This really was the most incredible place we stayed in India.
Amazing hospotality this family are lovely people to stay with KP and Vanesha manage this lovely guest house we stayed for holi and it was brilliant . Every review does this place justice apart from the one complaining about price of food which we felt was excellent value. The house is immaculate the rooms comfortable and a nice social area on the balconies. We are heading straight back once we arrive next year we both looking forward to seeing the family again we love um.
“Best place to stay in india :)”
During my two month stay in india i have stayed in Rajputana guest house twice, because of the incredible family. It has really been one of the best experiences in India. I feel like I have my very own Indian family. They are so helpful, kind and sweet. The guest house has very good facilities, very clean and they make the best food. Stay in Rajputana guest house, you will not regret it.
“Very nice family guest house!”
We stayed at the Rajputana Guest house 2 nights in July.
We met Kepi and his very nice family. Kepi is very welcoming and charming. He does his best to make you feel at home. After we arrived he showed us on a map every places we had to visit in Jaipur and how much we would spend in tuc-tuc or entry fees. He even gave us a private indian cooking lesson!
Room was very clean and I don't think you would find better at this price.
- Kepi and his family are very welcoming and friendly
- Room and the guest house are very clean
- Food is amazing
- Rooftop with a view over jaipur
- Food is is delicious but overpriced (600Rs for 2)
- Trains passe near the guest house and can disturb the peace
I visited Rajputana guest house in may 2014. I came here on the recommendation of a Elbert who has traveled to India 9 times and assured me that the situation was excellent in dealing lovely and delicious homemade food. Since it was late May, I made no reservation and had no problem getting not just a room, but also the room that this Elbert recommended (once there was told dates reservations are necessary because usually overbooked ). I behind my stay there, I can only confirm everything I said. The views from here are stunning bargain, the unbeatable location, the food fabulous and the staff most helpful and friendly. It was our last destination after a non-stop for 3 weeks before returning to Delhi and since then I can assure you it was the only hotel where I felt at home.
“Exceptional guest house”
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights while touring India. The accommodation was immaculate, location good being only 40 rupees in a tuk tuk to the pink city itself, price very reasonable at only 800 per night for a double room, and most important of all, KP, the owner is a true gentleman. He really showed us the difference between a guest house and a hotel by welcoming us into his home, cooking us breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening with his mum. He took time to explain all the things to do, where to go and where not to go, and even organised us tuk tuks with a fixed price when we wanted one! I might add, the fixed prices were fixed at local rate and not tourist rate that every tuk tuk u pick up charges.
“Nicea clean guesthouse with the most friendly family”
Kipi (the owner) gave me a warm welcome to Jaipur. Rajputana is a little outside the center, but close to the railroadastation and Kipi will fix you up with riksjaws for a good price. The family is warm and so is the guesthouse. Nice common areas and a clean cozy room. You can hear the trains passing by, but that's no problem. The food is really good. But the most important were the talkings with Kipi and the rest of the family. Kipi also knows really good what to do and what not do in Jaipur.
